1. Purchase Price and Deposit
The total purchase price of the puppy is $__________. A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to reserve the puppy. The remaining balance of $__________ is due on or before the date of pickup or delivery. The deposit ensures that the Seller will hold the specified puppy for the Buyer and will not sell it to another party. The deposit may be transferred to a future litter at the Seller’s discretion only.
2. Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal.
3. Health Guarantee
The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of pickup/delivery. If a life-threatening congenital defect is discovered during this time, the Buyer may return the puppy for a replacement of equal value (with written proof from a licensed vet). Seller is not responsible for any vet bills incurred after the puppy leaves the Seller’s care.
4. Vaccinations and Deworming
Puppy will be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming at the time of sale. A record of vaccinations and deworming will be provided to the Buyer.
5. Pickup and Delivery
Puppy must be picked up by __________ (date) unless other arrangements are made in writing. Failure to pick up the puppy by that date may result in forfeiture of the deposit and puppy. Seller may, at their discretion, extend the hold period or apply the deposit to a future litter.
6. Registration
Seller will provide AKC registration papers if applicable once the purchase balance has been paid in full. Limited registration means the puppy is sold as a companion and is not for breeding purposes. Full registration must be agreed upon in writing and may incur an additional fee.
7. Buyer’s Agreement
The Buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, shelter, and regular veterinary care. The Buyer will not resell or surrender the puppy to a pet store, puppy mill, or laboratory. The Buyer agrees to contact the Seller if they can no longer keep the puppy; the Seller may assist in rehoming.
8. Entire Agreement
This document represents the entire agreement between the Buyer and Seller. No other guarantees, conditions, or agreements are valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
